So far, I have used Cloudflare, Google and Quad9, because I had seen people using them in a few guides. I wonder whether this could be related to my upstream DNS servers. Of course, this is annoying when I am in the middle of a work meeting or when I'm playing video games online. On some days, however, I have the problem that websites suddenly stop loading and the whole network does not work for some minutes. I have been using ADGuard for a few months now and 90% of the time everything works fine. In addition, some services no longer worked. However, the interface was too confusing for me, and the network seemed noticeably slower in general. The idea of filtering my network traffic originally came from PiHole. I have assigned 1 CPU core, 1GB RAM and 5GB HDD storage. It runs in an LXC container, which is virtualised by Proxmox. Over the last few years, I have built a small server farm at home, including a virtual ADGuard Home server.
